Most patients need an initial series of 3–4 monthly treatments followed by maintenance every 4–6 months. The specific protocol depends on your hair loss severity and treatment goals.

Who are good candidates for red light therapy and PRP?

Women with thinning, diffuse hair loss or early-stage hair shedding due to hormone changes, stress, or nutritional deficiencies are ideal candidates.

What are the side effects of Minoxidil?

With Topical Minoxidil some women may experience scalp irritation, flaking, or redness. Using alcohol-free or low-concentration formulas often helps minimize this. At low doses, oral minoxidil may cause dizziness, fluid retention, or a slight drop in blood pressure. Excess hair growth on the face or body (hypertrichosis) can also occur in some individuals.

Women's Lifestyle Solutions is happy to assist you in using your insurance to pay for covered services including some laboratory testing and medications. Because we offer comprehensive solutions for women, some services and prescription medications we offer are not covered by insurance. Payment is expected for these medications and services at the time of service. We're always happy to provide you with a receipt to seek reimbursement.
